How to Move From Registers to Gym Software Without Chaos
Do not digitize everything at once. Move the records that affect renewals, payments, and member service first.
Start with active members
Import active members, phone numbers, plan names, start dates, end dates, and dues. Old inactive records can wait until your team is comfortable.
Run register and software together for one week
For the first week, compare daily collections and renewals in both places. This catches data mistakes before the team fully switches.
Train by workflow, not by feature list
Teach reception staff how to add a member, record a payment, renew a plan, and send a receipt. Feature tours are less useful than real desk tasks.
